We understand that many school districts have very limited budgets and the Covid-19 pandemic has made things even worse with state funding issues. This may make it impossible for educators to purchase book sets for classrooms.

We will do our very best to find funding sources to make it possible to send books to schools in all 50 of the United States. American educators (both public and private schools) may sign up here to receive free sets as donors come forward to help share these important stories with school children.

Please look at the many book sets offered on this website because our form will ask you to pick two sets by name. Check out the Grant Opportunities under the Learning Station tab on our website. Walmart stores have been very generous to schools and public libraries making it possible for them to have book sets available in honor of this 75th anniversary. A quick trip to the store to speak to the manager in charge of the Community Grant before filling out their short application makes a big difference. Also, there may be generous donors in your circle of friends who would be thrilled to purchase a set for a classroom.

NOTE: In December, we will release three Jewish Holocaust Survivor scripts to be acted out for International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2021. In January, we will release three skits with stories from the Civil Rights era to be performed during Black History Month.

"I'm passing along the lessons from the Greatest Generation and others who have lived through hardship to future generations. Our subject's humility, sense of responsibility, and work ethic are inspiring. Having a student interview someone with a powerful story to tell is the greatest gift I can give them and those who will one day read their book." Deb Bowen
